In these terms and conditions: “we” or “us” or “our” means Another Fine Mess cooking camp &  workshops “you” or “your” means the relevant Participant(s) named on the registration form or where any Participant is under the age of 18, then that Participant’s parent or guardian who submits our registration form “Participant” means the person(s) named on the relevant registration form taking part in the relevant camp and where that person is under 18 includes where applicable their parents or guardians.

(A). BOOKING AND PAYMENT. 

​

  1. We will provisionally reserve a place or places on the summer camp and workshops are based on these terms and conditions when you make a booking. Your booking will be taken as confirmed in respect of all Participants named by you on the booking form only at the time of payment and when we have received a duly completed registration form.

  2. Please check the Confirmation Invoice as soon as you receive it. Contact us immediately if any information on such documentation appears to be incorrect or incomplete, as it may not be possible to make changes later. We regret that we cannot accept any responsibility if we are not notified of any inaccuracies in any document within two days of our sending it out. While we will do our best to rectify any inaccuracies reported outside these time limits, you will be responsible for any costs and expenses involved except where we made a mistake.

(B). CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS BY US IF WE CHANGE YOUR ARRANGEMENTS BEFORE SUMMER CAMP COMMENCES. 

 

  1. We hope and expect to be able to provide you with all the services we have confirmed for you. However, given the nature of the summer camps & workshops, you are expected to be flexible and accommodate the possibility of alternative arrangements being made, even at the last minute and without prior notice. Please note that any published outline itineraries are a guide only, do not form a contractual obligation on us, and may be subject to change.

(B.1). IF WE CANCEL YOUR ARRANGEMENTS.

 

  1. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel arrangements, we will tell you as soon as possible. However, we will not cancel your arrangements less than 10 days before the commencement of the summer camp or workshops unless it is for a reason outside our control. These include unavoidable technical problems with transport, industrial disputes, natural disasters, bad weather, and epidemics/pandemic. If we have to cancel your arrangements, we will refund you all monies paid

 

(B.2). CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS BY YOU IF YOU CHANGE YOUR RESERVATION. 

 

  1. If you want to change your booking, you must inform us by email at info@afmcooking.com as soon as possible. We will try our best to help you, although we cannot guarantee that we will always be able to do this as changes are subject to availability at the time. 

 

(B.3). IF YOU CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION. 

 

  1. If you wish to cancel your booking, you must inform us by email. By clicking on the submit button on the booking form, you agree that fees paid are non-refundable 14 days before camp commencement.

  2. We offer full refunds up until 14 days before the beginning of your chosen week. After that, for documented medical reasons only.

  3. In the event of cancellation within 14 days or less, you will be responsible for 50% of the cost of the entire booking; any cancellation made within 72 hours prior to the commencement of the camp; you will be responsible for the entire cost of the booking.  

  4. If you cancel after the 72 hours prior to the camp starting for any reasons to do with Covid, suffering from symptoms, the positive test, close contact, etc., you will not be eligible for a refund. But we will try our very best to find a replacement; if we do, we can refund you.

 

(C). LIMITATION OF OUR LIABILITY TO YOU. 

 

  1. If the agreement we have with you is not performed or is improperly performed by our suppliers or us, we will pay you compensation. However,  we will not be liable to pay any compensation if we are forced to cancel or change your arrangements due to unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even with all due care.

​

  • These include unavoidable technical problems with transport, industrial disputes, natural disasters, bad weather, and epidemics/pandemic.

  • You or a relevant Participant; or A third party unconnected with the provision of the summer camp arrangements and where the failure is unforeseeable or unavoidable 

  • Unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised; or an event which we or our suppliers, even with all due care, could not foresee or forestall. 

​

  1. Should any Participant suffer an illness, personal injury, or death attributable to a third party unconnected with the provision of the services or as a result of failures due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised, or an event which we or our suppliers, even with all due care, could not foresee or forestall, we will offer you such advice, guidance, and assistance as is reasonable in the circumstances. 

  2. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects any statutory rights you or individual Participants may have under the relevant jurisdiction applicable to the clause.  

 

(D). YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARTICIPANTS. 

 

  1. Each Participant must fill in a form for entry onto the summer camp & workshops.

  2. We reserve the right to cancel any Participant's place on or require a Participant to leave the summer camp, even if the summer camp or workshop has already commenced, and without compensation or repayment of any sums paid should any information on the application form be incorrect. 

  3. Each Parent/Guardian will be required to provide a form with relevant medical details. Full particulars must be given of any previous or existing conditions that may affect a Participant's ability to participate in the summer camp or relevant activities. Participants will be required to authorise disclosure by us of any such conditions to any medical personnel that we may use in connection with the summer camp. 

  4. While on the summer camp, all Participants are required to adhere to the advice and instructions given by our staff or those retained by us to supply any services or activities that form part of the camp. 

  5. If a Participant falls ill or suffers an injury or, in our opinion, is not able to continue with the summer camp, we will notify the Parent/Guardian immediately, and they shall collect the Participant within 1-hour notification. Following consultation with the relevant parent or guardian, we reserve the right to require such Participant to either leave the summer camp entirely or for a period or not take part in a particular activity on the summer camp. 

  6. We shall provide appropriate supervision while Participants are undertaking activities and expect all Participants to behave responsibly concerning their safety and security and that of others at the summer camp.

  7. All Participants are expected to respect and obey the camp rules for safety and treat others on the summer camp and locals with respect and courtesy and observe and obey any instructions, directions, advice, rules, and regulations given or imposed by us or those organising any particular activities. 

 

PLEASE REVIEW CAREFULLY AND TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THE FOLLOWING : â€‹

  • Another Fine Mess Cooking Camp is open to children between the ages of 12-17yrs old.

​

  • Camp hours are 10.30 am to 3.00 pm, Monday to Friday. Another Fine Mess Cooking Camp shall not be responsible for any child left unsupervised by their parents or guardians outside these hours.

​

  • Participants will work together in pods of two and will be with the same partner all week. Each pod will receive their own set of ingredients and tools that our team will clean or disinfect.

​

  • When you sign up your child to attend,  Another Fine Mess Cooking Camp cannot guarantee that a child won't get Covid. We will follow all procedures to the best of our abilities to keep all attendees safe.

​

  • If a case of Covid-19 is confirmed,  Another Fine Mess Cooking Camp will follow HSE guidelines, and the required actions will be taken, up to and including the camp being cancelled prematurely.

​

  • Should a camp be cancelled prematurely, a pro-rata refund will be available to attendees reflecting the days missed.

​

  • Low enrollment:  We regret that our camp can only be operated if a sufficient number of people enrol. If there is insufficient demand, we have the right to cancel the camp in question. If we have to do so, we promise we will notify you no later than ten days prior to the week of camp commencement, a full refund including the deposit will be issued if we cannot place your child in another program or if you choose to not accept the alternative placement.

​

  • Facility:  If Another Fine Mess Cooking Camp cannot hold camp due to cancellation by one of our facilities, we will do our best to place your child in a program at another location. If Another Fine Mess Cooking Camp is unable to place your child in another program we will offer a full refund

​

  • A full refund will be provided if a camp is cancelled in line with HSE or Government advice prior to commencing.

​

  • In the event of a forecast of very inclement weather, we reserve the right to cancel the day's booking and will not be in a position to reschedule.

​

  • Cancellations made up to two weeks before the camp will receive a refund. Any cancellations made after this time will not be refunded.

​

  • Cancellations, for whatever reason, must be made by email to info@afmcooking.com. In the event of cancellation within 14 days or less, you will be responsible for 75% of the entire booking cost. 

​

  • Cancellation made within 72 hours prior to the commencement of the camp will be responsible for the entire cost of the booking. 

​

  • People failing to arrive without prior notification are responsible for the entire cost of the booking. No refunds will be made once the camp has commenced.

​

  • Cancellations due to medical reasons must be verified in writing by the attending physician. A refund will be issued upon receipt of physician verification. Medical cancellations must be verified within three days of cancellation to receive a full refund. After this time period, only half the fee will be refunded.

​

  • Another Fine Mess Cooking Camp cannot be held liable for damage to or loss of possessions. We strongly recommend that all valuables are left at home. The Lost Property Office will remain open until the Monday after the last day of camp only. After this date, lost property will be donated to charity, and further enquiries will not be possible.

​

  • We will not be liable to pay any compensation if we are forced to cancel or change your arrangements due to unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even with all due care. These include unavoidable technical problems with transport, industrial disputes, natural disasters, bad weather, and epidemics/pandemic.

​

  • Information about you and the Participants, including names, contact details, and any special needs, disabilities, or dietary requirements, is collected by us. We need this information to cater to the Participants' needs, but it is collected on the condition that we have your consent. If you do not agree to our use of such information, we cannot accept your booking. We may contact you by post or email with information about further camps from time to time. If you do not wish to receive such information, you should notify us. 

​

  • We take photographs or films of the summer camp and use the same in our promotional literature on our website. We may also reproduce any comments that we receive from you or the Participants similarly. We constantly endeavour to use any such photographs, films, or words responsibly, but if you do not agree to such use, we must be informed in writing at the time of booking. 

​

  • All specific information supplied relating to the itinerary or information pack or on our website is correct at publication. Any other information in any marketing or preliminary information is designed to provide a general overview of the types of camps and activities we undertake and should not be regarded as a representation forming part of the contract with you.

​​

  • All bookings will be confirmed by email. No booking will be fully confirmed until the full payment is received and registration details about each child are submitted. Responsibility for all booking details lies with the person who made the booking.

​

  • Changing your Booking, subject to availability, you will be able to alter your booking by contacting the Camp Office @ info@afmcooking.com. Changes do not incur a charge.

​​

  • If it is raining, do camp activities still go ahead? Yes, they go ahead. Some variation on the timetable may be required depending on the weather conditions.  Please see the 'what to bring' list and include a light rain jacket.

​​

  • All food cooked at the camp is intended to be eaten on the premises. No savoury or unapproved items may be taken home for health and safety reasons.

In consideration of the acceptance of the student in Another Fine Mess Cooking Camp, the applicant agrees that Another Fine Mess Cooking Camp and its employees will not be held responsible for any accidents or loss of personal property, however, caused. 

You hereby release, waive, forever hold harmless, indemnify and keep indemnified Anotherfinemess Cooking Camps from all claims for any injury, loss or damage sustained by the child/children /student arising from or associated with the activities and hereby indemnify Anotherfinemess Cooking Camps against all claims made by any other person against Anotherfinemess Cooking Camps in respect of any injury, loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the failure of the child/children/student to follow safety instructions, guidelines, instructions and rules outlined by Anotherfinemess Cooking Camps, its management and staff. Another fine mess Cooking Camps accepts no responsibility for items lost/stolen or damaged on the premises.
